A Nevelési Központban három éve működik egy önkéntes program, melynek keretein belül német és persze más nemzetiségű fiatalok látogatnak az iskolába. A diákok biztosan találkoztak már velük, ha máshol nem is, a folyosón minden bizonnyal, de egy-egy tanórára is be szoktak jönni, előfordulhat, hogy esetleg még ők is tartják azt. Simon Hermreck is azon önkéntesek közé tartozik, akik jelenleg nálunk tartózkodnak. Az ő véleményét kérdeztem az iskoláról, a diákokról és amúgy az önkéntes munkáról is.

„Simon Hermreck vagyok és Paderbonrból jöttem. Angolt és történelmet tanulok a Paderborn-i egyetemen és van egy bátyám, aki Kölnben él.”

Választhattál volna egy másik országot is Magyarország helyett?

„Magyarországot választottam, mert nagyon érdekel a magyar történelem.”

Végeztél már önkéntes munkát Németországban? Ha igen, mi volt az?

„Németországban önkéntes tűzoltó vagyok.”

Mi a jó az önkéntes munkában?

„Amit a legjobban szeretek az önkéntes munkában, hogy van lehetőségem kapcsolatot kialakítani emberekkel. Nagyon érdekes, hogy hogyan különbözik Magyarország Németországtól és mely területeken nem.”

Hogy érzed magad itt?

„Nagyon jól érzem magam Magyarországon és az iskolában. Mindenki nagyon kedves velem és élvezem az iskolai munkát. Igazán sok szórakozás van Pécsen és mindig új dolgokat fedezek fel a városban és a környékén.”

Mi a véleményed a magyar diákokról? Ugyanolyanok, mint Németországban?

„A magyar diákok pontosan úgy viselkednek, mint a német diákok. Elég vicces, hogy ebben nincs nagy különbség.”

Le tudnál telepedni Magyarországon és az iskolánkban?

Igen, teljesen biztos, hogy le tudnék telepedni Pécsen. Szeretem a várost és nagyon élvezem a munkát. Az egyetlen dolog, amivel birkózok, hogy megtanuljak magyarul. Ez egy hosszú folyamat lesz.

Van valami terved a jövőddel kapcsolatban?

„Be kell fejeznem a főiskolát és meg kell szereznem a diplomát.”

In the Apáczai Education Center, there is a working voluntary program, in which German and other nationalities can participate and visit our school. The students have certainly met them, if nowhere else, then in the corridor. They also visit some lessons, and sometimes they also tech in these lessons. Simon Hermreck is also member of this program. I asked his opinion about the school, the students and about voluntary work.

 

„I’m Simon Hermreck and I come from Paderborn. I study English and History at the University of Paderborn and I got one older brother who lives in Köln.”
 

Could you have chosen any other country? If yes, why did you choose Hungary?

„I chose Hungary because I am really interested in the history of Hungary.”

 

 Have you ever done any voluntary work in Germany? If yes, what was it?

„In Germany I am a voluntary firefighter”

 

What is good in a voluntary job?

„What I like most about my voluntary job is that I have the opportunity to get in contact with people. It`s very interesting how Hungary differs from Germany and where it does not”.

 

How do you like it here?

 „I feel very good in Hungary and at the school. Everybody is very Kind to me and I really enjoy working at the school. It`s really a lot of fun to live in Pècs and I always discover new things to in and around Pècs.”
 

What is your opinion about Hungarian students? Are they the same as in Germany?

„Hungarian students are behaving exactly like German students. It`s quite funny that there is no big difference.”
 

Could you settle in Hungary and in our school?

„Yes I totally could settle in Pècs. I love the town and I really enjoy working here. The only thing that I would have to manage would be to speak Hungarian. But that`s is going to take a while.”
 

Do you have any plans for your future? 

„I have to finish my college degree in Germany. “
